A blogging Princess is born

Let me begin by saying I am a fraud, a fake, a phony.....I am not a real Princess. The only castle I have is a modest ranch style house littered with kids' toys. My carriage is an SUV. I rule no one except for my children and the kids I care for at work. I have no servants, unless you count Crash, the semi-wonder dog who licks the carpet and the tile and saves me from mopping. There's no ball, or pretty dress, or mice....well, there could be. And as for Princess Charming.....okay, you got me, I found my Prince Charming in Algebra class nearly 22 years ago.

Now, that we are clear that I am anything but a princess let me confess one more thing. This is my first time blogging, although I've been constantly harrassed encouraged to do so or to even write a book. My other confession is that I doubt anyone will read this. Only my mother is contractually obligated to read it, yes Mother, by law you have to read it...and laugh.

The purpose of this blog is to amuse myself and maybe the occasional person who accidently stops by on their way to research Princess party supplies. I have no agenda, no political or religious views to share; oh I have them and I may refer to them but that's not the forum I seek. I am a stay at home mom, who occasionally works outside of the house, mother to 3 boys but sometimes more, an Air Force wife of 14 years, a friend that will stick her neck out for others, a sister who drives her sister crazy and a daughter still trying to apologize. I will ramble, I may get on a soap box, and I may share things you care absolutely nothing about but more than anything I aim to make you laugh. I will laugh at myself first but you are welcome to join me.
